Owen and Daddy Jam!

This photo was taken a couple weeks ago. I was practicing guitar when Owen grabbed his own ax and crawled on the arm of the chair to jam along with me. We rocked.

I’m starting to upload stuff to my Flickr account. If you added me as a contact sometime in the last couple years and I didn’t respond in kind, well – I just did. I forgot that you have to “friend” your friends. Der. But, see, now that there’s a freakin’ widget to put on my new blog linking to my flickr photos, I feel more compelled to upload.

Owen Confronts Velociraptors

I took Owen to the dinosaur exhibit at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. Here he eyes the animatronic velociraptors warily. Then he turned around and saw the T-Rex-like monster behind him, a realistic enough beast that even I was taken aback.

We had a good day. IHOP for breakfast, dinosaurs, a trip to Ben & Jerry’s and then a little detour to play with Sidney and Maddox, who played while the adults discussed the relative merits of the two remaining Democratic contenders for the party’s nomination.

Caught on my cell phone this morning as we were leaving for day care. Alas, I couldn’t get the full effect of him wearing the red bowl and using a wooden spoon as a cane like a little Charlie Chaplin. Glad I have such a visual memory.
